The Move Clinic Becomes Oxfordshire’s First DonJoy Fitting Centre

We are proud to announce that The Move Clinic has become the first official DonJoy fitting centre in Oxfordshire. This marks an important step forward in how we support our patients with joint protection, injury recovery and long-term pain management.

Our collaboration with DonJoy allows us to offer patients access to industry-leading braces that are expertly assessed, measured and fitted in clinic by experienced clinicians.

What Are DonJoy Braces Used For?

DonJoy braces are designed to provide targeted support, stability and pain relief across a wide range of conditions and activity levels. At The Move Clinic, we can now offer DonJoy bracing solutions for:

• Ligament injuries, including ACL, MCL and other knee stabilisation needs

• Pre- and post-surgical knee support, helping protect healing tissues and optimise recovery

• Offloader knee braces for osteoarthritis and lower limb alignment issues, designed to reduce joint stress and pain

• Post-procedure ankle and foot protection, supporting safe rehabilitation following injury or intervention

• Pain relief and joint support for athletes, allowing many individuals to continue training or competing safely during rehabilitation

Our Bracing Process

Becoming a DonJoy fitting centre allows us to deliver a structured, clinician-led bracing pathway from assessment through to fitting and follow-up:

1. Initial Assessment
   You will first attend a comprehensive clinical assessment at The Move Clinic. We will review your injury or condition, discuss your symptoms and understand your activity demands.

2. Measurement and Brace Selection
   Precise measurements are taken to ensure optimal fit. We will then discuss the range of DonJoy braces available and recommend the most appropriate option for your needs.

3. Fitting Appointment
   Once your brace is ready, you will attend a dedicated fitting appointment. This ensures the brace is correctly applied, comfortable and functioning as intended, with guidance on use and progression.

This personalised approach ensures each patient receives a solution that genuinely supports recovery, performance and long-term joint health.
